Es gibt an warmen Sommertagen nichts besser als ziellos umherzulaufen und schöne Musik zu hören. Schöne musik, das ist: "harte" Musik mit wunderschönen Gesang oder seichte, ambient-like mucke mit "harten" Gesang. Neurosis haben 2001 dieses geniale Ding rausgebracht. Sie haben 1986 als ne hardcore punk band angefangen und sind mittlerweile in einen epischen sludge/post-metal/wasauchimmer stadium. "A Sun That Never Sets" bietet uns nicht allzu lange songs mit durchschnittlich 6-9 minuten länge. Es gibt auch diverse Folk-anleihen...soll heißen ich höre irgendwo hin und wieder ne panflöte raus... und dieses klopfgeräusche beim Titeltrack - einfach groszartig. Meine Favoriten sind der Titeltrack, "Stones From The Sky" und "Falling Unknown".
